Random, but this is probably why I love Ryo so much: because he is as much a creeper as I am XD

I always think that I'm going to do HW on my days off, but it never turns out that way. I blame the weather, because the forecast told me it was going to be warm, but when I woke up, it was cloudy! It may have been warm in comparison to what Winter should really feel like, but GR!

(If it's not hot, I have no motivation to do anything, let alone homework. That's pretty bad, because 3 months out of the year is Winter, right? lol)

To end this, I just wanna say that my love for KoyaShige has been renewed :D
I watched Tegomass' DVD documentary before anything else, and KoyaShige's surprise was TOO CUTE! I miss Koyama! After all my time being spent on watching Ryo, Kanjani8, and other things, I haven't seen Koyama in so long ^^
I've also decided that I can't dislike Tegoshi, however spoiled he can be at times :P
Massu's becoming more handsome by the day :)
Their music is truly uplifting~ ♥

I'm loving this band more and more, and I really hope they get more publicity. For right now, I'm pimping them out :D

It's been 6 years since I created this username and I'm no longer the same person as I was when I started this journal. I'm about to enter into a pretty big stage in my life and I thought it only appropriate to name my journal after something I like and believe in :)

The etymology of my name comes from another username I generally use, which is Everlastingdream328, and that has recently evolved into being just lastingdreams.
Unfortunately, the variations of lastingdreams and lasting_dreams were both taken, so I ended up having to add a number. I chose 8, because it also ties into something that's very dear to my heart; Kanjani8 ♥

I have only spent a short time in the Eito fandom, but I love them so much! To me, lastingdreams also represents a line from "Musekinin Hero" -yume ha mugendai no musekinin hero~
The wording is a little different, but the message I took from it is that dreams are infinite. The 8 in my current username represents infinity :)

This journal has become more than just a blog to me; it's a documentation of my life, yes, but it's also a representation of who I am. I don't believe I have ever been a 'princess,' and I don't want to come off as that either. From now on, and perhaps for awhile, I'm much more content being lastingdreams8 :D

I've been steadily marathoning through the movies Okada has been in and I plan on watching A Pierrot and Tennen Kokekko after this.

That was the other Okada movie I watched (in one night XD) and OMG, the particular scene with the dolphins just moved me to tears.
I don't know what it was. Maybe it was the two characters slowly bonding coupled with the music, but somehow, the mages gathered on the beach, hands ready to push the dolphins back to sea, that combined image was just so inspirational to me ♥♥♥

I am dying for someone to sub this, because no matter if I can get the gist of the movie, I want to know what they are saying. Something simple yet profound could have been said and I would miss it, lol. You have no idea how many hours I spent looking for softsubs, but I'm grateful I got to see the movie at all ^^
I absolutely love the concept behind this movie. The love story was short, but cute :) I want to know more behind this universe so I've started watching the anime, but I don't know, it's not the same...
In any case, that is my spiel for today :Dv

The other day I was counting how many dramas I had watched last year and the number came out to be 39. I plan on breaking that 'record' this year XD
...and I think I've got a head start! :D

I spent the past few days doing exactly what I intended to do this entire Winter Break: marathon through some dramas :DDD

day 29--> your hopes for the next 365 days
The first thing that comes to mind is to be less selfish ^^ And then, to become even closer to my friends and family :) My other goal is to graduate with at least a 3.4 GPA (rounded), to get into grad school, to still be working at Kohl’s and enjoying (for the most part) what I do, and to listen and create music :D I would also like to learn how to take care of myself (I need to learn to cook), perhaps actually keep in shape rather than let my metabolism do that work, to write a lot, to watch a lot of dramas, and to inspire people (idk how I’ll do that, but I want to ^^). I’d also like to go to Japan, but the only thing that’s looking likely in the future is stopping at Narita for a fuel up on our way to Malaysia :P

Sexiest: A NishiKato drabble from this, because there was one sentence of UST :P
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: The Act of Washing Clothing; I never really knew Uchi and I guess writing him made me think of him in a new light.
Hardest to do: The Pieces That Still Fit (Broken Walls and Cracked Hearts); this was a remix and the original piece was so well written and jam packed with angst/power behind the characters’ emotions that I just didn’t know what to ‘tackle’ first. I liked my opening and ending, but the meat of it was just not enough dialogue for my taste…
Biggest disappointment: Short Cut; I guess I really just don’t know how to write Shige with Sho XD
Most telling: Holding My Breath; I’m so proud of this fic, because I found a connecting factor in the story that wasn’t entirely overbearing, but somehow was still a noticeable theme. My first remix and it’s ‘telling’ of how I feel towards Ryo and Sousuke :)

day 20--> a hobby: Fanfiction

Fandom, itself, is a hobby, but it has become such a big part of my life that I can safely say that it is my life :P
Writing, however, is a different story. I'm no English major and I'm no creative writing expert, but I can create something pretty once in awhile ;)

I'm posting this early, because I work 10PM-6AM, and I'll be too tired and lazy to post anything for the rest of the day. I'm just happy they didn't schedule me this shift into my birthday ^^

Of course, I have never made this, I simply am incapable of cooking XD
